“For every bottle sold, Desi Daru provides a month of clean water;
every drink poured brings a day of clean water.”

One Sip, One Day

Our vision isn’t just to create world-class liquid that reflects our dual heritage, we want to make sure that we’re giving back and making the world a better place, one bottle at a time. We are proud to be partners with charity: water, an incredible nonprofit that provides clean drinking water to people in need.

Every Measure Matters

To help tackle the ongoing water crisis, we have introduced ‘One Sip, One Day’. Through this initiative every 25ml measure of Desi Daru Vodka provides clean drinking water for one person for an entire day. A whole bottle will provide them with water for a whole month. Each sip now carries a purpose and supports local communities across India.

The problem:
A Global Struggle, A Local Reality

Today, over 700 million people around the world live without access to clean water. In India alone, millions of families face a daily struggle accessing safe drinking water, many walking miles each day just to collect it. Waterborne diseases remain a leading cause of illness. Without access to clean water, India’s education, health, and economic development are all affected.

We hope to be able to make a difference and support our home country.

The solution:
rainwater
harvesting

We will be working with charity: water on rainwater harvesting. In regions where groundwater is unsafe or scarce, rainwater harvesting offers a simple, sustainable solution. These systems provide reliable clean drinking water that meets safety standards all year round.

The charity
Charity: water

Founded on the principle that clean water changes everything, charity: water is a nonprofit that is known for its transparency and effectiveness. 100% of public donations go towards funding water projects, and a separate group of private donors cover the operational costs. Their model ensures that every penny goes to where it’s needed most.

Since 2008, charity: water has completed over 25,000 water projects in India, impacting more than 830,000 lives. But there is still work to do, and we are proud to now be a part of this work.
